Thank You!

In October and November 2025 several autonomous community-based initiatives took place in order to financially support AstaroTheatro, allowing it to continue doing what she does best: participatory theatre. These initiatives include VoKus, fundraisers and events. Since AstaroTheatro is proudly independent and values her autonomy and integrity, she doesn’t receive institutional art-fundings.

Now, at the end of the year and after almost three months of autonomous fundraisings, AstaroTheatro can only say: “Thank You!”
So much gratitude to all the various communities who independently organized and, in many ways, managed to raise enough funds to keep our activist theatre going, at least for the time being.

AstaroTheatro looks forward to a 2026 filled with challenges, definitely not only financial ones. Artistically, politically and humanely our theatre aims to continue all her activities and to be a safe haven to the marginalized and racialized in search of arts and connections.
