Mosaic Rebetiko Trio at AstaroTheatro

Mosaic is a Rebetiko trio based in the Netherlands. Rebetiko is a genre of urban Greek folk music that flourished in the 20’s-50’s and was highly influenced by musical traditions of the Near East. For Mosaic’s band members, the essence of rebetiko is in sharing and collectively creating. It holds a very dear place in their heart, and it is this warmth that they wish to convey to their audience.
