An ironic research  inspired by Sophocles’ ANTIGONE in which King Creon, Antigone’s uncle is obsessed  with the extreme  idea that he will never die and be confronted  with his own destiny
Carlos Trafic developed  his work in avant garde groups such as Grupo Lobo (Buenos Aires) Dharma Theatre (Sao Paulo) and The Living Theatre  (New York). He performed  in the Festival of Fools with Okay Doc as well as in the Mickery Theater  (Amsterdam) led by the avant garde artist and director Ritsaert ten Cate. He has adapted the film Kabinett of Dr. Caligari for theatre and Alice Through  The Looking Glass with Rainer Mennicken.  He been a lecturer at the Otto Falckenbergschule Theatreschool (Kammerspiel  Miinchen, Germany) for the past 10 years. Recently he wrote text and performed  in two tango operas  Desvios and Signor Retorcimiento by the composer and bandoneonist Marcelo Nisinman. In 2013 Free Fringe Festival Carlos also appears  in the role of Hamm in Samuel Beckett’s EndGame at De Vondelbunker

A Story with a View

A presentation of the story written in 2003 by Marian Kozlowski, titled “Lunch with Chris”. In the story an actor and a director meet to discuss a proposed off-off theatre production. The action takes place in a Central-European city, some 1.100 kilometers to the East. Using Google maps, we will try to recall the route the men took and compare the descriptions with the present view
